Portrait of my Mama

Today’s my mother’s birthday, whoo! I won’t tell you how old she is, and I won’t post any long things either. She’s gotten a lot of that in the birthday card I gave her. 😀

You know I like writing...It's practically an essay in here.

So, it recently occurred to me that “Hey, maybe I should post my drawings on my blog!” So yeah, that’s what I’m going to do, and hopefully, it will encourage me to draw more and stop sleeping on my art. 😦

You see, I’ve always believed in personally made gifts, because I feel like they mean more than just words and graphics that someone has already printed. When you make a gift/card yourself, you’re not only spending your money on someone you love — you’re using your own time and ability as well. Or I don’t know, maybe it’s because I don’t have a life. Maybe when I begin college or working, I won’t have time for these things. But I really hope I do, and that I never lose interest.

So, I drew my mother… Here are some progressive shots.

Sorry, I didn’t take any from the VERY beginning…

As you can see, up close, it's very...unblended.

Oh look, it’s a giant card!

Anyway, more pages of my sketchbook from now on.

Also, Ghana Black Stars better win today’s match, before my mom comes and kills them.

Happy Day,
