I hope you’ve been enjoying the Green Green Grasses podcast so far. There are a few episodes out already and they’ll keep coming out every Wednesday until 12th December, so I hope you stick with it until the end.
This is just a brief announcement that the GGG podcast is also available on Apple Podcasts, and the links to individual episodes are on the GGG Episode List page. If you prefer listening to podcasts on this platform as opposed to SoundCloud, I’m happy to cater to you!
If this is your preferred platform, and maybe even if it isn’t, please subscribe and give the podcast a good rating if you like it! This will help other people to find it, which will be really helpful in getting the project to a…
My summer is coming to an end. I might as well blog about its highlights now, since I go to school on Saturday. The first one I’m blogging about is Chalewote 2014, which I attended on 23rd August. Chalewote is a Ghanaian street art festival, and it was my first time attending, since:
1. This year was the first I’ve heard of it (thanks, Owiredua), and
2. I didn’t have to be in school at the time of the event.
Today’s my mother’s birthday, whoo! I won’t tell you how old she is, and I won’t post any long things either. She’s gotten a lot of that in the birthday card I gave her. 😀
So, it recently occurred to me that “Hey, maybe I should post my drawings on my blog!” So yeah, that’s what I’m going to do, and hopefully, it will encourage me to draw more and stop sleeping on my art. 😦
You see, I’ve always believed in personally made gifts, because I feel like they mean more than just words and graphics that someone has already printed. When you make a gift/card yourself, you’re not only spending your money on someone you love — you’re using your own time and ability as well. Or I don’t know, maybe it’s because I don’t have a life. Maybe when I begin college or working, I won’t have time for these things. But I really hope I do, and that I never lose interest.
So, I drew my mother… Here are some progressive shots.
Anyway, more pages of my sketchbook from now on.
Also, Ghana Black Stars better win today’s match, before my mom comes and kills them.
